Richard Fahey's Evna showed improved form when landing a Southwell maiden on her third start last month and she could be of interest on her handicap debut off a mark of 67 but IMPRESSIBLE has solid claims and gets the vote with Red Kyte rated the best of the rest. The selection was good value for her win at Chester two starts ago in June and did not get the clearest of passages on a return visit to the venue the following month so Eric Alston's filly looks worth another chance. Jim Goldie's Rothesay Dancer won well at Hamilton on fast ground in June but has disappointed in two subsequent starts and, with more rain forecast, she is unlikely to have ground conditions to suit. John Quinn's Speedy Senorita has been showing signs of a return to form of late and could be of some interest off a fair mark, while Ian Wood's Requisite took advantage of a dropping mark when successful at Ripon in June and cannot be discounted off just a 3lb higher mark today. Kevin Ryan's Red Kyte was a narrow winner of a handicap at Pontefract last month and she has to be considered off just a 2lb higher mark here, especially if further rain falls, but preference is for Impressible.
