Verdict

Carlisle winner Trail Blaze is still well treated on past form, despite a penalty. But he has to give 20lb to three-year-old FAST CHARLIE, which may prove beyond him. The latter hasn't over-reacted to the latter's success at Thirsk and the extra furlong shouldn't be a problem. The going will suit Tectonic and he's likely to be thereabouts again while Fragile Earth doesn't look badly handicapped. Piccadilly Jim and Lord Franklin both arrive in decent form and shouldn't be underestimated.
