    Verdict

SAUCY BROWN is looking to repeat last year's success in this contest and should be capable of doing so on today's terms. A recent pipe-opener at Ripon will have blown any cobwebs away and his overall form is superior to that of Ursula. The latter could figure with a repeat of her fourth in a handicap over C&D last September and is preferred to Frequency, who has been struggling on the all-weather of late. The remainder have plenty to find and make no appeal.
