Verdict

Ithoughtitwasover has a 3lb penalty under today's conditions for his recent win at Newmarket and is facing a tougher task while stablemate Gulf Of Naples could feel the effects of finishing a creditable third in last week's Chester Cup. Hillview Boy hasn't scored since winning this in 2010 and that was the same year Laaheb last got his head in front. Creme Anglaise will need to improve although Constant Contact is not easily dismissed back on the Flat for a yard in flying form but the vote goes to BRIDGE OF GOLD. He'll have come on for his recent comeback and can take this with a repeat of his second in last year's John Porter at Newbury when only beaten a head.
