Recent worthwhile form is a bit thin on the ground in this so it might be a good opportunity for KNIGHT IN ARMOUR to recoup losses incurred at Musselburgh, when Mark Johnston’s gelding got lit up by first-time blinkers. The headgear is left off here, though he could have been better drawn. Riponian popped up here last year but remains 8lb higher, though did win later at Musselburgh. Captain Peaky is unlikely to get much lower in the weights but New Abbey Angel is now 0-21 on Turf. My Brother Mike might have preferred a bit further but has travelled a long way for this and won off a 2lb higher mark on Tapeta last year.
