RACOON has found a new lease of life this season and is taken as the one to be on here. Argentine and Sir Nod are others who arrive in good form so merit respect, while Tadalavil can be fancied to be sharper after his reappearance and is also worth a second look in the betting. Tradalavil has been around for a while and has never really fulfilled his potential. However, he is nearing a winning mark, so is worth keeping tabs on whatever happens today. Sir Nod has 6lb extra to carry after a confidence boosting win at Carlisle last week. And he is likely to make a bold bid for glory. The Julie Camacho-trained seven-year-old has a good record when he is turned out quickly and shouldn¿t be underestimated. Argentine has a similar recent profile to the selection and has a very good record at this course. However, he is now paying the price with a stiff test at the weights and needs everything to go his way. This is unlikely to happen if Racoon hits the gates running. Even at the age of nine, Racoon retains plenty speed and enthusiasm for racing and, as the Peter Savill-owned gelding is thriving on being kept busy; Ruth Carr's charge is forwarded as the best option in this company.
