      Verdict

A large field goes to post for this maiden but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Global Warning, Music Note and Dazed and the confident vote is given to Global Warning. The selection was a fair third on his debut behind Salut D'Amour. That form has since been franked and with the step up in trip likely to bring about more improvement he will be hard to beat. Music Note rates the main danger as she is a well bred half-sister to Moujoudh by Indian Ridge from a yard whose two-year-olds are in top form and should be noted in the market. Dazed is another well-bred filly from a top yard by Danehill and has definite place claims but she has been done no favours by the draw. Archimboldo is only his stables second two-year-old runner of the season. The first one was beaten in a photo and he is another to watch closely in the market. Of the remainder Celeritas showed improved form to be second behind Puskas on only her second run, so is another that could go well, but in a race where the market will be very informative, for the winner we return to Global Warning.
