    Verdict

    Gold Club improved to finish second over track and trip last month but the runner-up has since let the form down. ROGUE WAVE looks worth another chance after the combination of a longer trip and rise in class proved beyond him at York last time. He'd separated a couple of subsequent winners when runner-up over course and distance before that and can land this with a similar effort. Brian Noble wears his owners first colours ahead of Our Red Devil and could prove best of the remaining pair of newcomers.
