Verdict

Laertes, Notanotherdonkey and Triple Mint are three against the field in a trappy opener and the narrow vote is given to Leartes. The selection won well last time out when beating Corbie Lynn, that form has since been franked and despite his penalty he remains on a fair mark and under conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. Notatherdonkey rates the main danger on his latest second behind Charlies Future but he is more exposed than most and is taken on with this in mind.Triple Mint is another that could go well as he hails from a yard in top form is sure to have come on for his first run of the season so he should be noted in the market. Of the remainder Predestine is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but for the winner we are happy to return to the progressive Leartes.
