      Verdict

Three-year-olds have won the last four and RED BOX can continue the trend. Sir Mark Prescott's filly was awarded a Listed contest at Ascot when the first past was disqualified but was finishing so fast she may have won in another couple of strides. Both Light And Shade and Mix And Mingle looked to have every chance in that latter race but were found wanting. Golden Stunner deserves a step up to this grade having completed her hat-trick in a tough Class 2 handicap at Newbury but Manaboo appeared to get outpaced when tackling this grade at Newmarket. Wilamina was having just her third start when an excellent runner-up in a Sandown Listed contest when Sharaakah was close up in third so both have to be considered.
