Verdict

Picture Frame has been difficult to win with but Nigel Tinkler's gelding looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account and is taken to do so at the main expense of Caj and Inkjet. The last mentioned looks the pick of the newcomers being a daughter of Beckett related to winners but it has to be of concern that she is pitched into this level on her debut. Two Sips Sue was, not surprisingly, well held on her first start in a decent looking maiden and is difficult to evaluate taking a big drop in class. Mick Easterby's Playing Games is speedily bred and could be of interest although the yard is hardly known for their success with first time out juveniles. Mick Quinn's Caj has shown signs of ability in maidens and warrants respect being dropped in class but Picture Frame has an obvious chance and she gets the vote.
