Olympian Odyssey gets the call here ahead of Winged Cupid and Metropolitan Man. Olympian Odyssey ran pretty well on his return from an absence at Salisbury on August 16th and he ran as though he needed that run after a five-month break and, being the highest-rated of these, may be the one they all have to beat. Caldra has two and a half lengths to find based on that form. Metropolitan Man has not been disgraced in Listed and Group company this season and a good run is far from ruled out, but the selection's stable companion, Winged Cupid, is lightly raced and clearly useful but a three-pound penalty for a Listed win and the fact that Frankie Dettori has elected to ride Olympian Odyssey, spins us back to that horse as the selection.
