In depth

Verdict

FRANCISCAN had to be switched when short of room in the closing stages at Yarmouth last time, but still managed to get his head in front for a narrow victory. With today's longer trip expected to suit, Luca Cumani's charge can follow-up off only a 3lb higher mark. Getabuzz was a cosy winner at Hamilton last month but has been raised 9lb as a consequence. He'll need to improve again here, while Korngold showed a big improvement for the step up to 1m2f last time and he can figure. Kleitomachos and Planetoid are worth noting on their handicap debuts.
