In depth

Verdict

Wee Dinns, Orpen Wide and Necker are the three to look at in a competitive contest with Wee Dinns taken to come out on top. A winner in France, Necker is having his first outing in this country for Ian Williams. French runners are often more mature than their British counterparts and although the win is hard to evaluate he clearly has ability and any market move should be heeded. A winner at Newcastle in a light Flat campaign, Orpen Wide was close up when coming to grif in a competitive Chepstow contest on his re-appearance over hurdles. A winner at Stratford off only a five pound lower mark a year ago, Orpen Wide can play a leading role here. Wee Dinns was winning her fifth race of the year when scoring at Fontwell last time. The underfoot conditions look set to suit and Wee Dinns can concede weight to most of her rivals here.
