      Verdict

Thackeray beat Striker Torres at Pontefract recently and should be thereabouts off a 5lb higher mark but January's dual Southwell winner Dashing Eddie looks high enough in the weights now. Tilsworth Glenboy also looks to be in the handicapper's grip as he attempts to end a long losing run and preference is for BOLD MARC. Elaine Burke's veteran won this race back in 2008 off a much higher mark and having beaten higher rated rivals than he faces today in a claimer at Southwell on Tuesday, he looks set to record his fifth victory over C&D.
