Verdict

Recent Ascot winner Barshiba and Kevin Ryan's Les Fazzani have to carry penalties for their successes in listed races and may not be able to give weight away to their rivals with a better bet looking to be Luca Cumani's French import BECQU ADOREE, who is preferred to Three Moons. Harry Dunlop's filly was highly tried after a good second in this grade at Newmarket at the beginning of the month but was not disgraced in a group 3 race last time on ground that was probably softer than ideal and she has to be considered. There is little to choose on form between Lucy Wadham's Cassique Lady and Henry Cecil's Flame Of Gibraltar but the latter does represent a stable very much in form at present. Sir Michael Stoute's runners are also in good heart so Rosika cannot be discounted but she needs to have improved from two-to-three to play a hand in finish. Becqu Adoree makes her debut for Luca Cumani today but she showed a decent level of form in France and crucially escapes a penalty for her listed race win in July so she looks worth chancing for a stable that can ready one after an absence.
