Verdict

Hada Men landed a real gamble for Brian Ellison in this last year and the in-form Norton handler runs five this time around. The market should be monitored closely again but Capellanus looks particularly interesting having won a jumpers' bumper at Wolverhampton in January and run well on the Polytrack since. McCoy rides Sandown second Leader Of The Gang for David Pipe while Paul Nicholls runs December's Taunton winner Landscape and Softsong, Roman Flight and Flaming Charmer also enter the equation. Cloudy Bob got off the mark at Warwick last month but Coverholder's winning run came to an end at Carlisle and he'll do well to bounce back in a competitive affair such as this. The lightly-raced VELOCE is much better than he showed at the Cumbrian course last time and is fancied to run a big race at decent odds in this with Jason Maguire back in the saddle. Romeo Americo may be best of the rest.
