ROYAL ROCK is the form pick to land this competitive listed contest, while both Percolator and Dandy Man are worth noting. The selection was an improving sort last season and has continued to do so this year winning here over six furlongs last time out. His rating has risen as a consequence and connections obviously feel he is good enough to win against listed class horses. If he recaptures his recent form he will not be too far away come the business end of the race. After breaking her maiden tag at Lingfield Percolator was tried against the very best. She ran well to finish second in a Group 2 in France before running down the field in the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes at Newmarket on her final start of the season. She clearly had ability as a two year old but she will have to prove she has trained on now she is three. Dandy Man has proven winning form in listed and Group 3 races over the years. At the age of six he is still capable of running against the best and still processes plenty of speed, but he has been winless for two seasons now and has become frustrating to follow. This is a great race to open a competitive card and Royal Rock still looks progressive and is taken to win again.
