Verdict

SWALEDALE LAD was only beaten a neck by Big Water at Carlisle three weeks ago when conceding 6lb. That was another good effort on the back of an easy win at Bangor and Richard Ford's charge should take all the beating here. Musselburgh third Lone Foot Laddie is improving with experience while Ivan Boru could do better now tackling hurdles having proved a little disappointing in bumpers. The others appear to have plenty to find.
