In depth

Verdict

Ouzbeck should hold too many guns for his rivals here and land it for the Robert Thornton / Alan King combination. Ouzbeck made a very pleasing chasing debut at Bangor last time, jumping with great fluency and winning in effortless fashion. His closest pursuer Berings Express crashed out at the final fence when beaten and these quick conditions should prove no problem to Ouzbeck. Contact Dancer is the only conceivable danger to Ouzbeck. He broke his maiden tag over fences at the sixteenth attempt last time out. He drops back in trip here which makes him vulnerable against the selection. The remainder should be monitored with handicaps in mind but Ouzbeck appears to have a simple task on hand here.
