      Verdict

Sir Haydn gets a confident vote over the rest, including Heez Kool and newcomer Colton. The selection looked a certain future winner when finishing a close second to Mexican Bob on his return to hurdling here last month, and will be a very popular choice to go one better under Graham Lee. He pressed the winner all the way to the line, and with the fast conditions to suit again, he should take all the beating, especially as he is fit from the Flat. Heez Kool is well related but has shown nothing in two starts, but is with a top yard and could eventually make up into a decent chaser, while Colton was a fairly useful middle-distance handicapper and is best watched. Thought good enough to contest Listed races over hurdles two years ago, it will be a major surprise if Sir Haydn does not collect.
