In depth

Verdict

GREAT TUSKAR should improve immensely from the experience of his debut where he finished fourth behind the smart Tataniano. He travelled well into the race at Cheptow before appearing to be outpaced by the placed horses. Ellen Telley has shown gradual progression through her three starts while of the three winners in the race Vacario, who contested an all-weather bumper on his latest outing should be suited by the stronger gallop that should ensue here. Anyauldiron contested a bumper run at a pedestrian pace at Haydock first time out. The sprint which occurred up the straight would not have suited him and with a stronger gallop likely owing to the large field, he is another to consider. Market moves for the remainder should be followed, as always in contests like this but Great Tuskar is the nomination.
