    In depth

    Verdict

Free Stone Hill was chasing in the autumn and returns from a short break. Walsingham Grange won at Bangor earlier this month but has been raised 7lb and may be vulnerable now. Marmont got off the mark over track and trip last time but the headgear would need to work a second time and he’s 6lb higher in a slightly better race. SIR EGBERT was threatening to take a hand in the finish of a conditionals’ race at Kempton recently when he was badly hampered by a faller and unseated his rider. He would definitely have finished in front of Shining Romeo that day and still has a bit of scope off this sort of mark.
