Verdict

MOMENT PRESENT is fancied to give weight and a beating to his rivals with the fiercest opposition likely to come from Seattle Storm and Makhzoon. Charlie Mann enjoyed a terrific season and can continue in the same vein by adding another winner to his tally. Moment Present caught the eye on debut over hurdles but it took him another four starts to open his account. That course and distance victory should just be the beginning for him and he can outclass this opposition. Seattle Storm was beaten a long way on his hurdling bow over two miles six but it would be no surprise to see him improve for that initial experience. Makhzoon also disappointed on his hurdling bow but he showed ability in bumpers and cannot be written off whilst Sir Liam must also rate highly having run a satisfactory race behind Nordwind last time. Few others jump off the page although support for Split The Wind would be worth noting but she'll need to leave her Flat form behind if she's to trouble Moment Present.
