Verdict

One for the aficionados but GALBALLY KING has a fine record of eight wins and two seconds from 17 outings between the flags, allied to which he was a respectable runner-up in this contest last year behind Realt Ag Leimt, beaten less than three lengths. He confirmed his wellbeing with a close-up third at Fontwell recently and is taken to go one better this time around. Blazing Whale has performed creditably on his last two starts under Rules and his latest effort when fourth at Cheltenham indicated that this two furlong drop in trip will suit well. Moroman could be a livelier danger though as he's in excellent form between the flags and was still going strong when coming to grief at Fakenham when last seen under Rules last month.
