Verdict

A poor seller here gets proceedings underway but something has to win and the principals look to be Junkanoo, Ballyboe Boy and Kingscourt Lad and the narrow vote is given to the last named. The selection was a fair third behind Princess Of Spurs last time out, That form looks solid and under similar conditions and with the drop in class in his favour he looks the one to be on. Junkanoo rates the main danger on his latest third behind Mighty Fine. That form has since been well advertised but he is hard to win with and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Ballyboe Boy is another worthy of respect on his latest third behind Tarkesar. He is another dropping in grade and with his yard continuing in good form he will not be far away. Of the remainder Lets Celebrate is on a handy mark and could go well at a price now he gets his fast ground while Lease is from a shrewd Irish yard and is another to note in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept a minimum for the winner we return to Kingscourt Lad.
