Verdict

Un Noble won at Newcastle in April and returns off only a 5lb higher mark while Trickaway is upped only 3lb for his win at Southwell in May. Course winner Oscar O'scar and Shimla Dawn are others returning to action while Present Lodger has more recent form but is upped in class after a close-up fourth at Hexham. Captain Redbeard won here in March but failed to get involved on his comeback and NO NO MAC is preferred as he ran well from the front for a long way at Hereford last month before fading in the closing stages - Charlie Longsdon’s charge should be sharper today.
