Rhymers Ha' did win his only race over hurdles here in December but is probably best watched on his chasing bow. My Idea hasn't shown much so far over fences but Bocamix was second over course and distance nine days ago, though that looked a weak contest. ROBBIE is lightly-raced for age and, though jumping fences late in life, was in good form over hurdles last season and may be able to take advantage of the 7lb he receives from recent course winner Jack The Gent, who was proving hard to win with previously.
Jack The Gent (IRE) 9-2 (11-12) Led from 2nd, made rest, blundered 5 out, clear from 3 out, ridden before last, kept on well, won at Kelso 2m 1f hcp chs 0-115 (4) gs in Apr beating Suprise Vendor (10-1) by 10l, 8 ran.
Bocamix (FR) 22-1 (10-2) Held up in rear, headway on inside 2 out, chased winner last, stayed on, just held, 2nd of 5, nk behind Kykate (11-8) at Kelso 2m 1f nov hcp chs 0-120 (4) gd in Apr.
My Idea 13-2 (11-4) Prominent, led after 5th until not fluent next, led again 2 out, headed before last, no extra, well held 5th when mistake at hurdle, 6th of 8, 31l behind Gonow (10-8) at Hexham 2m 4f hcp hdl 0-120 (4) gd in Apr.
Rhymers Ha' 17-2 (11-12) With leaders, pushed along before 2 out, ridden and weakened last, 7th of 11, 10l behind Mubrook (11-4) at Ayr 2m 4f hcp hdl 0-125 (3) gd in Apr.
Robbie 9-2 (11-12) Led until 5th, chased leaders until weakened before 3 out, 6th of 8, 20l behind Red Inca (11-1) at Haydock 2m hcp hdl 0-140 (3) gs in Mar.
