Verdict

Jimmie Brown signed off last season with a win over hurdles at Wetherby. He makes his chasing bow on his reappearance along with Clondaw Knight. Swing Hard may do better taking on the larger obstacles for the first time but SUPRISE VENDOR has already won over fences. He scored at Hexham in May and his earlier second over track and trip gives him the beating of My Idea on collateral form. Stuart Coltherd's charge gets the nod with Alfred Oats looking best of the rest on last season's third at Ayr.
