A dire contest in which stakes should probably be kept to a minimum unless there is a significant market move. ANGE DES MALBERAUX has only won over shorter trips so far but didn’t appear to be stopping when third over 3m at Musselburgh two runs ago and would be the one to beat on that form. A step up in distance might suit the lightly-raced The Delray Munky while Turtle Cask is well treated nowadays and has bags of stamina, though has been out of sorts since scoring at Hexham in September. Minella Suite has been chasing and isn’t certain to get home over a trip this far.
