Merigo is no doubt being prepared for another tilt at the Scottish National and is unlikely to be fully tuned up yet. Zitenka is potentially well treated and has been taking on better company but was behind Riguez Dancer at Wetherby 12 days ago so You Know Yourself is more interesting as he was only beaten a head over track and trip in his last run over fences. Or De Grugy may struggle in this grade nowadays, however, while Blenheim Brook has yet to replicate his useful novice form in handicaps though has been placed twice here. ROLECARR easily beat Or De Grugy over track and trip in December and finished well ahead of Blenheim Brook here in the autumn - he looks the one to beat again.
