In depth

Verdict

Following an excellent effort last time Cross The Line is a confident choice in this handicap, Norcroft and Serieux may provide most danger. Alan Jarvis's four-year-old came up a against an improving type on his return to the track. It was over the mile trip here and he only gave in at last moment. The drop in trip should suit and with improvement likely as well, he is the best option. Norcroft returned to winning ways last time and still looks on a decent enough mark. Meanwhile Serieux looks the pick of the two Dandy Nicholls pair and could be good each-way value. The best of the others may be Life's A Whirl, but Cross The Line has the obvious form claims and gets the verdict.
