Verdict

Lions Charge won his first race in 24 attempts when scoring over a shorter trip at Wolverhampton while the less exposed Merry Dancer landed an amateurs race at Windsor in October. Silver Lining, Pink Lips and Salient are all capable on their day but it's hard to predict when that will be and a token vote goes to LILY EDGE. She won three times last year and after showing a bit more at Lingfield last time, John Bridger's mare can finally take advantage of a slide down the weights.
