Verdict

There is not much public form to go on here and we will side with GET A GRIP who is nominated to get the better of the newcomers Musaafer and Plato. The selection ran well in a competitive maiden at Newmarket last month when he finished second behind Destination Aim. That was a good effort and it is the best form on show here. If he can build on that he should be capable of opening his account, especially as this longer trip should suit. Musaafer could be the fly in the ointment as the yard are in cracking form and he makes plenty of appeal on breeding. He also has a decent draw so he has to be respected. Henry Cecil's newcomer Plato is another who catches the eye on breeding and he also has a fair draw. Desert Aisling, Slasl and Miss Wendy will have to improve on what they have shown so far to get competitive. Get A Grip sets the standard and he gets the vote.
