Verdict

Colour Catcher never threatened despite finishing third over track and trip on his debut. But he was slowly away on that occasion and can finish much closer today. However, LITTLEMISSBLAKENEY may prove too good as she failed only by a nose to catch Ko Cache at Newcastle - Hugo Palmer's filly is taken to open her account in this. Breeding suggests Merdon Castle will come into her own when tackling longer trips, but fellow newcomer Rasha is from the family of high-class sprinter Sole Power and any support for her could prove significant.
