Verdict

GILMER couldn't live with Art Official, who has gone on to land a decent nursery, but finished a street clear of the third-placed horse at Epsom last time. He'll be unlucky to come against a similar type in this and gets the nod. Mystique Rider has leading claims on his latest third at Goodwood especially as the the runner-up has won twice since while Highland Acclaim ran well on his debut at Ascot back in May. Mutawathea has some catching up to do but wears his owners first colours ahead of the newcomer and Two-Year-Old Trophy entry Hesbaan.
