Some of the newcomers are worth a second look including Kept and A'Juba, a half-brother to the useful Alexandros. It remains to be seen what sort of impression Claude Monet can make on his racecourse debut, however, and there's a couple of doubts regarding the leading contenders with experience. Sir Francis Drake is dropping back in trip for his belated reappearance and Narcissist hung badly in the closing stages when third at Lingfield on his latest start. REGISTER travelled well but faded quickly in the final furlong when starting favourite at Yarmouth last time but his earlier third at Newbury is working out well and Bill Muir's charge gets another chance here.
