In depth

Verdict

The three against the field are Fusili, Activo and Alpine Reel with the vote going to the last named. The selection never knows how to run a bad race and has won three of his six races to date. His latest start saw him finishing second to Speedy Sam at Lingfield and if repeating that effort he should take all the beating again today. Of his rivals Fusili looks the biggest danger and although fully exposed in similar races his last two runs have been eye catching and a return to the winners enclosure want be too far away. Activo is another horse to take into account after his fine second to Solo Flight at Lingfield last time out. It was his first real sign of form for a while so is worth noting in the market. But for the winner we return to Alpine Reel.
