In depth

Verdict

Fabreze, Sparton Duke and Yankee Storm make most appeal here and the vote is given to Fabreze. The selection has a good draw here and he ran really well last time out when he chased home Shifting Star at Goodwood. He is a game sort and he looks primed to resume winning ways. Spartan Duke is the only course and distance winner in the field and he arrives here on the back of a decent effort at Haydock when he finished a close fourth behind Novellen Lad. He should go well with the yard in good form. Yankee Storm also has a decent draw but he was a little disappointing when well-backed last time out and the handicapper may now have his measure. Loose Caboose disappointed on the turf last time at Pontefract, but she is better on the all-weather so she should not be discounted lightly. This looks a decent opportunity for Fabreze who is put forward as the pick.
