Verdict

GABRIAL'S GIFT followed an improved run at Newmarket by scoring at Brighton and though he's better handicapped on Turf than on the all-weather this won't take much winning and he can score again. We Have A Dream was a long way behind in that Brighton event but that wasn't his true form and he ran much better two days later on fast ground at Lingfield. First-time blinkers worked the oracle for Assembly at Yarmouth but not at Newbury a week later where he ran very poorly. Song Of Parkes hasn't been running well enough nor has Frognal, who would have a definite chance on his form of earlier this year.
