      Verdict

      Go Far won well last night and would have obvious claims if turning up again. Blazing Knight won at Wolverhampton in September but is having his first start since and Gold Beau was last seen at the track in the same month. Athletic had Shiekh The Reins back in third when scoring over 7f here last week but carries a penalty while Spellmaker's winning run came to end off today's higher mark at Lingfield last month. TOP COP showed his first worthwhile form since joining Ron Harris when runner-up at Wolverhampton last time. He looks set to return to winning ways off his current mark and gets the nod.
