In depth

Verdict

The step up in trip for Tannor should not be too much of a problem in this company and Michael Jarvis' charge is confidently expected to get off the mark this afternoon. Bukit Fraser is going the right way and, along with Sunny Lady, can pose the selection a few problems along the way. While Cleaver has a three-year-old pedigree and it will be no surprise to see him put in a better display than his performance from his solitary start last season. Scarrabus, on the other hand, failed to build on two promising efforts when he finished down the field when he was last seen out and may be better off in handicap-company. Therefore, the search for the likeliest winner ends with Tannor, whose connections will have to construct a serious contingency plan if this expensive purchase cannot stake his claims for better things with a convincing display here.
