OPERATION CHARIOT wasn't beaten far in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood but was a shade disappointing in a Listed event at Salisbury on his latest start. He's given another chance though it's possible one of today's rivals can improve past him as they step up in trip. Jockey bookings suggest Snowboarder is the preferred choice of the Godolphin duo ahead of Filfil after performing the bizarre feat of dead-heating in a match at Lingfield. However, Janoub Nibras looks just as dangerous if he lasts home having won twice over 6f here previously and he's preferred to Ocean Applause. Winged Icarus dotted up at Southwell but has plenty to find on today's terms.
