        Verdict

        BRAZILIAN BRUSH is selected to see off Diane's Choice and Reigning Monarch. Milton Bradley's inmate did not really seem to relish the fibresand at Southwell but he showed plenty of guts in finishing second and on this easier surface, he should be able to gain compensation. Diane's Choice is a course and distance scorer. Her latest run was without headgear and that is now retried this afternoon. Reigning Monarch is a regular at this circuit. He has performed well for this rider in the past. Divine White is modest though Matty Cosham rode his first winner recently and caught the eye of many judges. Equinity's second in a Lingfield seller reads well especially as she was a 40/1 poke on the day. Jeff Pearce's horses are running well and it would be no surprise to see her in the shake up. Brazilian Brush has the most interesting profile for this race and is accordingly selected.
