In depth

Verdict

Hamelin had three subsequent winners ahead of him when fifth at Goodwood in May. But he hasn't raced since and MY DIRECTION has the more recent form. The latter went close on the Polytrack at Lingfield on his recent debut and is preferred to others having only their second start in Waha and Diamond Mine. Prolific winning hurdler Balder Succes makes his belated debut on the Flat while Robertson and especially Shanti, a half-brother to dual Oaks heroine Sariska, are newcomers worth noting.
