In depth

Verdict

Satin Love ran well below his best in a decent nursery here in November but, if he's improved over the winter, he could take all the beating. Palais Glide found Barnet Fair too good over 5f here last month but won her maiden over today's trip and can figure, while Toms River Tess produced a better effort last time and is preferred to Insolenceofoffice who is struggling at present. However, HOOVER won his maiden at Lingfield three weeks ago with the minimum of fuss and, with plenty of scope for improvement, Jim Boyle's colt can follow up here.
