Verdict

A watch the market race if ever there was one so in the absence of it, AWASEEF has to be put up as the most likely winner with Million Dollars and Temple Queen others to make the shortlist. Related to a number of smart milers in the USA; the filly showed well on debut at this course over seven furlongs without threatening to trouble the winner. She will have learnt plenty for that outing and is likely to be priced accordingly. Million Dollars, like many Godolphin juveniles, is anticipated to have come on for her first run. Weak in the market at Folkestone, she was not knocked about when beaten. Temple Queen hails from a family that include the very useful Speed Cop and Siren's Gift among their number. The trip is an interesting one on that pedigree. Belle Zorro will need every yard of this trip as she is a half-sister to the useful dual purpose performer, Gee Dee Nen. Serafina's Flight ran her debut under testing conditions at Salisbury so we have to take it with a pinch of salt. Hayley Turner rides Wild Rose. A half-sister to Market Day she is well drawn. Khazara is closely related to a number of juvenile winners so watch the market for any positive comment. Charpoy Cobra takes this option in favour to another tilt at a Newmarket maiden. Awaseef is nominated without reference to any market moves.
