        Verdict

        A competitive looking maiden with Colchium, Musical Beat and Miss Saafend Plaza all worth noting with the vote going to the last named. The selection comes from the Hannon yard and has been running well in defeat at present finishing second on each of his last two runs. His latest effort when second to Les Fazzani was a geniuine effort and if repeating that performance he has to be the one they all have to beat. Colchium has not been seen since finishing second to Malyana at Brighton back in October. He is having his first run since a break so will be fresh and also worth noting in the market. Musical Beat ran with credit on his debut at the beginning of the month finishing third in a nine runner field at Wolverhampton. He was not beaten far that day and should come on for the experience so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to the experienced Saafend Plaza.
