In depth

Verdict

BLACK SAILS made a winning start at the Curragh when trained in Ireland but struggled in Group races after that. She’s joined Archie Watson’s in-form yard and should be thereabouts at the finish. Galloway Hills won over 5f at Lingfield but was beaten under a penalty last time and has a bit to find on these terms with Tribal Quest, who hasn’t raced since August though went close over 7f at Newmarket before that. Superego is related to a host of winners and is a newcomer to note.
