Verdict

With the Mick Channon yard going well DUNES QUEEN is marginalLy preferred in this maiden to Peninsular War. The selection had just one run as a juvenile, when she was a beaten favourite on good to soft at Newbury. She was very green that day and she should benefit plenty from the experience and improve for this reappearance. She may just be able to find more than Peninsular Way, who has not quite seen out any of his three tries over the minimum trip, and has a more exposed look. Swans A Swimming ran with credit over 6f at Lingfield earlier in the month and should also be able to take a few steps forward with that under his belt. A market check is advised. Robin The Till took a while to get the hang of the game but produced his best form so far at Lingfield on Saturday. On official ratings he has plenty to find but he may be able to bridge some of that gap. Dunes Queen can reign.
